Clean and bright in color. Aromatic and elegant nose of ripe black fruit, prune and dried fig. Sweet and fleshy tannins are balanced by a perfectly integrated acidity, which gives the wine some freshness and emphasizes the presence of fruit and its ability to age. Smooth mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish. Peak drinking from now until 2029.

This wine generally goes well with pork, poultry or beef.

Ketran is a denomination name that in Mapuche language means “land plowed by the fire and volcanic activity”. It is a wine that was born inspired by the volcanic lands that origins our vineyard at Los Lingues, located by the foothills of The Andes, at Alto Colchagua, where we find the unique terroir conditions that allow us to elaborate a wine with great complexity and elegance.

"Ketran is the icon wine at Siegel and it's well worth paying the extra pesos to acquire a bottle of this serious, intense, finely judged assemblage of Syrah with 70% Petit Verdot, Carmenère and Cabernet Franc. The oak is sweet and vanilla spicy, the fruit vivid, vibrant and refreshing with amble concentration, bright acidity and layers of bramble, blackcurrant and red berries. 2023-32"
