The property is located in the Entre Deux Mers region on the heights of Sauveterre de Guyennne, It takes its name from the parcel, called Clozet, enjoying an ideal clay-limestone terroir. The wines are vinified in the cellar located the nearby village of Daubeze, 3 km from its production area.
